Classic Bitibak
A balanced and unprecedented mix of classical and African sounds.
Sometimes the sound of the harp approaches the sound of the kora, the cello becomes wind in the bush and the improvisations collide harmoniously and delicately.
Classic Bitibak (quartet) tells a story, that of Simon Nwambeben, who by his voice and guitar, embarks you on a great melodious, catchy and mesmerizing journey, accompanied by talented musicians and classical instruments (cello, harp, ...).His ballads take on a cinematic scale, carried by an oceanic, almost Celtic breath. A sensation reinforced by refined but without excess arrangements, by chiseled vocal harmonies. Africa, for its part, is still there: carried by the language, by the clear voice so characteristic of Simon Nwambeden, but also by the rhythm and by the syncopated of his guitar playing.
